Konect Manager

Konect Manager Lite

Queries can now be edited directly. All query management features (create, edit and delete) are now only available in the Datasets catalogue under Data/Queries.

The Data tab still contains a grid that can be filtered and exported, but queries will no longer be created or replaced from this tab.

Please be aware queries that are used in projects that are taken offline will be impacted by edited queries as the edited query will need to be entirely resynced. Users in the field may have an unexpectedly long sync, depending on the number of new photos in the replaced query and device bandwidth, this could be a hours.

Konect now has user groups configurable from the Konect Portal. A Konect user groups allow users and projects to be grouped so you don’t need to keep adding lists of the same projects or users to each other. All users in a user group will be able to use all the projects in the user group, without the need to allocate each project individually.

More information about user groups can be found in the Konect knowledge base here.

This feature is only recommended for customers with large numbers of licenses/users, and can be switched on for your organisation. Please contact your reseller for more information about unlocking this feature.

Description

Konect ManagerKonect Manager sometimes fails to load the map, locking the user out. After 20 seconds the user will be offered a restart Konect Manager option. If this issue continues the user may try to refresh the app by starting Konect Manager with the command line switch -r.KS-967
Konect AppOn some iOS devices, photos taken in portrait mode and chosen from the gallery, can have an orientation correction applied twice such that overlays created in the field will not orientate correctly when viewed in Konect Manager or on Android devices.

Konect AppIt is recommended to store no more then 10 photos for each individual record as this may increase instances of the mobile application crashing due to memory limitations. This is impacted by other applications that may be running on the device, in particular when switching to the camera or gallery application. Konect records can and do store more than 10 photos.

Projects that contain multiple queries of the same dataset that reuse the same style, may have the features rendered in the wrong order. To work around this use a unique style per query in projects.KS-1052
