Konect App

New Vertical Topology functionality has been implemented. Here are some additional details:

• Topological rules are defined in a new tab in the the datasets area of the catalog.

• Topological move rules are only applied to existing features, never new features.

• A node from a different feature is considered for topological moves/deletes when

  • It matches a move rule

  • It is within 0.1 m of the node being moved/deleted (co-located)

  • The node was co-located at the start of the feature edit

    • This means if you snap a node to another feature and move that node again it will not drag that snapped node along with it

• Moved nodes

  • Can be moved multiple times

  • Can be undone

  • Can be snapped to other nodes (using standard snap rules)

• Deleted nodes

  • Can be undone

• New nodes drawn during edits will be considered to be included into co-located features when

  • The new node is drawn between 2 existing nodes

  • Those 2 existing nodes are co-located with 2 sequential nodes from the target feature

  • Those 2 nodes match a move rule

• New nodes inserts

  • Can have more than 1 new node between the existing nodes

    • Including multiple nodes inserted from a snap

    • And section reversal for multiple nodes from regions

  • Can be moved – including multi node insert nodes

  • Can be deleted – including multi node insert nodes

  • Can be undone – including multi node insert nodes

• Co-located features that are moved with the edited feature that have geographical attributes will have these updated.
